Position: English Teacher - Malaysia
We are currently recruiting an experienced, UK trained Secondary English Teacher for our client in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be teaching as a classroom teacher for KS 3/4 students.
This is one of a growing international school in Malaysia situated 20 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur international airport and 15 minutes from the Formula 1 racing track. The school has a purpose-built campus on a large piece of land and it is designed to support and promote the highest educational experience. The well-equipped facilities include air conditioned classrooms, interactive whiteboard (IWB), libraries, science labs, ICT labs, high speed internet connection across the campus, tennis courts, basketball courts, football fields, indoor swimming pool, cafeteria, medical room and prayer room.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor degree in English or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- English native speaker
- Good understanding of the UK curriculum
- Flexible to adapt into new culture
This school follows UK national curriculum from Year 1 to Year 11 for students aged 3-16. There are just over 300 students in the whole school. The students are comprised of 95% local students and they are hardworking and keen to learn.
