Suresh Chatwal’s Son Mr. Yaman Chatwal confirmed the news saying, “With great grief, I inform you that my father, Mr. Suresh Chatwal is no more between us. He left for heavenly aboard yesterday succumbing to his ongoing illness.”
The actor was known for his role of Commissioner Suraj Agnihotri in F.I.R . Another role which was appreciated was Dhukhiya of Doordarshan’s Nukkad. The Sayeed Mirza-Kundan Shah-directed show, which ran for two seasons, starting in 1986, was one of TV’s most-loved TV series. He also was seen in Bollywood films like Karan Arjun, Munnabhai, Koyla and many more.
The cremation will be carried out today, 29th May' 16, from 3.30pm onwards. Other rituals will be held on Tuesday, 31st May 2016, between 5 to 5.30pm at 4 Bunglows Gurudwara, Andheri West.
