Know at all times level of sales vs LY vs Target for Brands-group
Plan with Mktg team and execute activities at floor level to achieve Brands objectives wholesales & inventory
Manage and grow team of promoters to achieve Brands objectives
Team-work with other KAEs to ensure unity with promoters and store people
Give proposals, suggestions to Mktg on all sales & inventory related matters
Job-Specs:
Check and know brand(s) daily sales per counter/how many cash bills being opened vs other luxasia brands and vs competitors brands
Check and know on the correctness of each brand stock assortment. Ensure availability of stocks to avoid out-of-stock situation and place orders** where necessary.
Check and know physical quantity of stock at counter vs quantity in POS system per brand (at random days).
Check and know (randomly for key GWPs) physical quantity of GWPs/samples/testers vs sales done and take action when necessary
To respond to promoters� queries and to assist them whenever possible in their dealings with respective floor execs/mgrs.
Create and maintain good rapport/relationship with store mgrs. Execs,supervisors and understand the store�s operation process
Ensure that all BITAs are prepared and available on the floor on time for normal use and sales periods, as per schedule
Observe Competitors launch promotions at concourses, external areas, special in-store events :- take pictures and upload into appropriate shared-folder. With standard info. To update sales on 2nd or 3rd day of their activity and complete all info after their activity ends.
Update competitors� information report upon 2nd or 3rd day of competitors promotion activities (target day is every Friday before 12noon) where applicable.
For promotions:
Ensure BITAs and stock are available 5-days before promo and incentives/partimers plans are done 14-days before any promotions � working closely with mktg and providing relevant feedbacks while taking into consideration each brand�s guidelines can be very different.
All KA executives must give sales/motivational briefings to FCs and partimers. For new launches, SEs to liase with Mktg/Trainer for in-office product briefing 1-mth BEFORE launch promo, for permanent promoters and 3-days for Partimers
Ensure cleanliness of counters � teach promoters to use proper cleaning aids to remove stubborn stains eg cellotape marks, ink, etc. A standard measure is of checking: white color must look white not grey or yellowish etc. Mirror finish must able to reflect, not look blurish with finger marks. Testers clean & not empty. Blotters cannot be cut into half. Avoid thick layers of dust even at top levels of shelves, pelmets, etc. And others.
Ensure promoters� do house-keeping min. 1x every 2 mths, inside store room, inside drawers ie proper filing, all competitors� items will be confiscated etc. Old stuff eg expired visuals, POPs to be properly destroyed and thrown away.
Ensure correct standard of merchandising at respective counters according to brands� guidelines. (guidelines may change with new visuals and/or new launch or new limited editions)
Ensure proper pictures are taken and updated and uploaded into generic folder(by brand name and counter and month/year): of new counters, upon change of visual look/image, launch merch, limited editions merch, etc
Promoters
Source, Interview, hire and ensure quality of BA (permanent and part-time) for the company, the counter and brand.
Image of promoters�, clean-shaven, non-messy hair, clean and ironed shirts/pants, those been given brand�s uniforms must wear and take care and upon resignation MUST take back from promoters � if lost, BA will pay for compensation and replacement. If SEs forgets to take back from BA, SEs will compensate for loss.
Ensure quality of partimers hired for replacement of counters and for promotions whether big or small.
Work together with Counter Managers/(Product Mgrs *cosmetic/skincare brands) to ensure timetable of all BAs at each store is fair, with coverage from 10-10pm and as accurate as possible. And, for top 15 doors there should be BA to cover at all times/full force at peak hours eg 12-2pm, 6-8.30pm, sats & suns, public hols and during stores� sales periods.
Ensure luxasia BAs upkeep stores� policies
Counters� Maintenance/image
Assist by taking pics and updating Co-ordinators on any maintenance needs to be done (or simply to cross-check/update whether maintenances have been done or still outstanding..if so happen to be at that particular counter)
Weekly: Counter Visit Report � issues solved on the floor, issues outstanding � countersigned by CM or promoter.
Monthly
Prepare commentary of respective Brands� Performance, by comparing with target and last year�s actual. State the reason(s) of increase/decrease.
Prepare Store Sales Report Analysis (Sales vs Target � MTD & YTD) on every 3th of the month, for submission to KAM/mktg
Check on POS/MIM per counter
Weekly basis and monthly � check on number of new customers acquired by counter and per BA (for cosmetics/skincare & frag brands with VIP base).
Knowledge & Skills:
Degree in any discipline
4 to 5 Relevant Experience
Excellent communication skills � verbal and written � English. Malay and Chinese a bonus
