Job Description:
KEY TASKS:
- To assist Management in increasing the Hotel�¢ï¿½ï¿½s profitability
- To assist guests to ensure that their stay at the hotel is comfortable and an experience to remember
- Monitor the daily operations of reservations
- Develop and conduct rooms based marketing activities
- Update the Reservation Agents on the room rate strategies and room allotment control
- Ensure booking from TARS is handled promptly
- Complete end of month reports
- Ensure accuracy of guest histories and client profiles in Database by the process of merging and purging
- To supervise the Reservation Agents to ensure smooth operation, neatness and cleanliness in the Reservation area and ensure the care and maintenance of all the working equipment
- To supervise and ensure that the Reservation Agents pay particular attention to the use of the Guest History facility in the PMS system
- To ensure that the Reservation Agents have sound knowledge of internal and group hotel promotion
- To prepare timetable planning and schedule days off for all Reservation Agents
ESSENTIAL & OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Malaysian citizen
- Good spoken and written English and local languages
- Service oriented
- Positive attitude - Good interpersonal skills, guest oriented and service minded team spirit
- Good listening skills and ability to anticipate guest needs
- Good presentation and confident speaking skills
